I got this colorful scratch-paper drawing. 

One of my favorite early drawings my son made in 2017 or 2018, The Dragon-Chicken. We drew a lot of dragons, and he came up with this joke, combining something scary with something very familiar. 

Listening and drawing don't compete for the same mental resources, in my opinion. As the number of teleconferences have increased, so has my drawing production. 

One of the recurring characters in my son's drawings is Sourino, the mouse. However, in this drawing from 2019, it looks like it's the cat who's wanted, and perhaps Sourino is the sheriff who wants the cat and who has set a hefty reward for his capture. 

In 2018 we talked about Marcel Duchamp's art, and A Bruit Secret intrigued my son particularly. I told about Duchamp's idea of liberating art from aesthetics, and also how he was a bit of a joker who liked to make people puzzled; Is it for real, or is he just kidding or even mocking us? Duchamp also accepted to sign replicas of his ready-made art. We built this replica of A Bruit Secret, with the materials we had at hand. Although Duchamp no longer is around, we nevertheless consider it to be an authentic replica, including the secret noise if you shake it. 

At the end of the school year the kids' all paintings show up on our door step. It's quite impressive, both with regards to the evolution throughout the year, as well as for the quantity. I decided to scan the drawings and paintings, and the result is the Daisy Street Art Collection.
